Rathinam College of Arts and Science is a distinguished educational institution established in 2001 by Dr. Madan A. Senthil, an accomplished philanthropist serving as the Chairman. Nestled in a vast 70-acre campus, RCAS is part of a larger educational ecosystem. Our institution is affiliated to Bharathiar University, approved by the AICTE, and recognized by the UGC under sections 2f & 12B and earned autonomous status in 2013. RCAS provides a wide spectrum of academic programmes, comprising 29 Undergraduate, 13 Postgraduate, and 8 Research (Ph.D) courses, catering to a student body exceeding 5200 individuals including 230 students from 18 different countries, mentored by a faculty of 278 members.

The Department of Mathematics at Rathinam College of Arts and Science stands out as one of the most promising departments. Established in 2010, it initially offered an undergraduate course and later evolved into a postgraduate department in 2016.
